COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

We have extensive safety measures in place to ensure that we have a safe and healthy environment for our visitors and staff. These measures include frequent cleaning of high-touch areas, sanitizing stations, directional signage to encourage physical distancing, and reduced visitor capacity.

All visitors and staff are required to wear masks at all times while inside the building and while queueing outside the museum.

Please review our guidelines below to learn more.

Within the past 10 days, have you been diagnosed with, or tested positive for, COVID-19?

Have you had close contact or live in the same household with someone who in the past 14 days has been in isolation for, or tested positive for, COVID-19?

Have you had any of the following in the last 24 hours?

  • Chills, fatigue, or muscle and body aches

  • Headache or a sore throat

  • A persistent runny nose

OBSERVE THE 3 W'S

WEAR A MASK

All guests ages 3 and up, as well as all museum staff, must wear a mask at all times, inside and outside the museum. Masks must be worn correctly and snugly over your nose and mouth at all times, except when eating or drinking, which is limited to outdoor spaces. Failure to keep your mask on properly may result in your removal from the museum.

WASH YOUR HANDS

Clean hands fight COVID-19. Practice good hand hygiene during your visit. After touching exhibits and before and after eating, wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer. Sanitizer stations are located throughout the museum. Please avoid touching your face and unnecessary physical contact with others.

WATCH YOUR DISTANCE

Please maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet or 2 meters between your party and other guests as well as museum staff. This includes waiting in line, speaking to staff, or viewing an exhibit. If a space is full, simply return at a later time. In addition to physical distancing, please stay with your party whenever possible.
